Jeremy I"m curious as to what u think of Black Snake Moan. ??. Thats my old high school. Song name at 4:33. Jeremy I highly suggest watching and reviewing the Sopranos series during Quarantine. Bad education movie. Bad Education is based on a true story taken from the New York magazine article "The Bad Superintendent" by Robert Kolker. In this movie, Frank Tassone(Jackman) the superintendent of New York"s Roslyn school district and Pam Gluckin(Janney) become the prime suspects in the unfolding of the single largest public scandal in the American history. This movie shows both of their life inside and outside of the school without getting deviated from the plot. We get to see one of Jackman"s best performance yet. The acting was really amazing, it felt soo real that you wouldn"t even doubt that character. Then we have Janney as Pam, which was also well acted. Geraldine who acts as Rachael, is another key character of this movie and was really good. The movie was will directed and the music was apt. This was a bit slow paced though. The movie is short and you won"t feel bored due to the acting.
There is no doubt that this is one of the best movies of this year so far. I recommend it to every drama lovers and Jackman fans out there.
WHY MICHELLE GOMES IS SO HOT, JEEEEESUS. I clicked for jack whitehall, now I"m dissapointed. Went to public school in nassau county on long island, k-12. cant wait to see this (based off this trailer 1. its gonna be really good and 2. the public school system on long island AINT THAT GREAT— unless its just hicksville LMAO but i doubt it. Hugh Jackman is the type of actor that should be working with Paul Thomas Anderson,Wes Anderson, Scorsese,Fincher or Tarantino. He is that good. Bad education 2020. If your in for good acting then bad education might learn you something. if your in to learn the game of fraudulent behaviour, please pick the next line. so as you see this is about the civil servants that skim the cream from the milk, or making their lives better on behalf of you and you(not me because im norwegian whatsoever)
this is a smasher of a film, hugh jackman delivers, with the supreme effort from the rest of the cast. the production and plot are just amazing and the build up of tension just brilliant. score and rythm goes hand in hand with the screenplay.
there are just one minus, in fact 2, and that is the epilogue where you might expect a bit more neutral content towards a person that has served time for his misdemeanors and paid justice for his sins, and whatever his pension might be its fairly a political issue. also the very last 3 minutes became veeery abstract, almost like the return of the deceased passengers on the titanic returning for love and unity, and sharing thoughts on a little bit of bad luck in the end of that film.
so whether your thinking unipolar or bipolar or thinking at all, the grumpy old man had a good time viewing and learning about bad education, even though it was brilliant search me.
